Louis
J. Resweber
President / Chief Operating Officer / Founder
Resweber has more than 25 years experience in corporate management, having served as an officer or board member to a dozen NYSE and NASDAQ-listed public companies. Prior to founding PELICAN in 1998, Resweber served as Chairman of the Board of Westmark Group Holdings in Boca Raton, FL, where he completed the company's reorganization as a nationwide financial services concern. As President & CEO of Network Acquisition Corp., a telecommunications company, he engineered a series of 17 successful mergers and acquisitions, helping to convert the company into the fastest-growing participant in its industry. As Senior Vice President, Capital Markets for United Companies Financial, he was instrumental in developing an capitalization program that helped push its stock from $16 to $132 per share, making it the top growth stock in any industry on any exchange at that time. Beginning his career in the energy sector, he served as Vice President of Arkla Energy (now Reliant Energy) in Shreveport, LA; as Vice President of Entex Gas (now CenterPoint Energy) in Houston, TX; and as Manager of Celeron Oil & Gas (now Plains / All American Pipeline) in Santa Barbara, CA, which ultimately merged with Goodyear Tire & Rubber to build the nation's longest pipeline, twice as long as the famous Alaskan Pipeline. A cum laude graduate of the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Resweber is active in his community and has served on the Boards of Directors of a number of other companies and business associations. Lou and his wife, Michelle, are the parents of three children.

Rand
H. Falbaum
Director
Falbaum has been widely recognized as an owner, manager and mentor to over 50 businesses. Since 1985, he has served as Chairman & CEO of Gordon, Inc., which has grown from a small family-owned producer of ceiling products into a nationwide industry leader in the engineering and manufacturing of components for commercial and industrial applications. Falbaum also owns and operates various industrial, commercial and multi-use real estate properties. In addition, Falbaum is a co-owner of Sound Fighter Systems (highway sound barrier manufacturer); Circle R Media (film/video studio); Legacy Homes (manufactured/modular homes); Versa Finance (consumer finance); Anytime Fitness (health clubs) in Louisiana; PODS (Portable On-Demand Storage) in Louisiana and Kansas; and Direct Buy (home improvement) in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Alabama. A former officer with InterFirst Bank in Dallas, he is also a certified public accountant, a licensed commercial pilot and a certified flight instructor. Falbaum earned graduate and post-graduate degreees from the University of Texas in Austin and Texas A&M University in College Station. Rand and his wife, Susan, are the parents of two children. |

Dr. John F. George, Jr.
Director
George is President of G-6 Management,
Inc. A medical doctor, he was a Co-Founder
of LifeCare Hospitals, which was sold to
the Carlyle Group. Active in various businesses,
he is an investor in Louisiana Fund I, a venture capital fund,
and he also serves as Chief Execuitve Officer of Growth Factor Recovery, LLC. He is extremely active in his community, and serves as a member of the LSU System Board
of Supervisors, which oversees the main campus of Louisiana
State University, as well as it’s law school, two medical
schools, and all of the state’s public hospitals. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Centenary
College. A medical doctor, Dr. Georgeis a graduate of LSU School of Medicine. John and his wife, Ann, are theparents of four children. |

Kevin
A. Hudson
Vice President / Chief Financial Officer
Hudson has served as Chief Financial Officer of PELICAN since 2008. In addition, he continues to serve as CFO of Gordon, Inc., a company he joined over 10 years ago as Controller, and as President of Versa Finance Company. Previously, Hudson worked as a Senior Tax Agent, and in the accounting, corporate finance and tax departments of Arkla Energy Company, which was the 4th largest fully-integrated natural gas distributor, 6th largest gas transporter, and 10th largest gas producer in the entire United States (and which is today Reliant Energy and CenterPoint Energy). A certified public accountant since 1987, Hudson graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, and then began his career with the accounting firm of Edmonson & Waddell, CPA in Shreveport. Kevin and his wife, Judy, are the parents of two children. |

Michael W. Pearson
Corporate Controller
Pearson is responsible for all day-to-day financial activities of PELICAN, and assists in corporate planning. He previously worked with Lou Resweber and Kevin Hudson at Arkla Gas from 1978 to 1997 in natural gas pipeline accounting, internal auditing and budgeting. Subsequently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of North Louisiana Goodwill Industries for three years, and for 8 years as Controller of Centenary College, the oldest chartered liberal arts and sciences college west of the Mississippi River. A graduate of Henderson StateUniversity in Arkadelphia, AR, Pearson is a certified public accountant. |

Amy M. Varisco
Director of Operations / Business Development / Due Diligence
Varisco began her career with Prudential Financial and Guardian Insurance prior to joining Lou Resweber at Westmark Group Holdings, a nationwide, publicly-traded financial services company. In 1997, she became one of the first employees of The PELICAN Security Network during its founding and played an integral role in developing the dealer relations department prior to moving into finance and accounting, eventually earning a promotion to Corporate Treasurer. Varisco’s career has also included management experience with Capital Security Resources of Houston, TX; and as a lead account executive on the acquisitions team of SAFE / Security Alarm Financing Enterprises (a joint venture with General Electric / GE Capital) in San Ramon, CA. In addition, she has also conducted due diligence and portfolio analysis on dozens of alarm companies while working with SICC / Security Industry Capital Consulting in Dallas, TX. Varisco has a degree in finance and management from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Bryan D. Melancon
Systemwide Manager of Advanced Technology & Service
Melancon – a former PELICAN Security Network independent dealer – was previously the Owner & General Manager of Cutting Edge Solutions, an electronic systems integrator, which Melancon subsequently sold to PELICAN before accepting an offer to join its management team. Previously, he was the Lead Project Technician for a global systems rollout at ExxonMobil; a Systems Administrator for Interactive E Solutions; and a Senior Technical Services Specialist / Sales Engineer for Lanier / Ricoh Americas. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Melancon has also earned numerous certifications for information technology (IT), security systems integration and advanced fire protection technology from CompTIA, Brivo, Sonicwall, the Electronic Security Association National Training School (ESA NTS) and the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET), as well as a Certificate of Theology from the World Evangelism Bible College. Melancon serves his community as a Ascension Parish (County) Councilman, serving District 10, and as a member of the Ascension Parish Republican Party Executive Committee. Melancon began his career by serving his country as a Senior Avionics Inspector in the U.S. Marine Corps. |

Dennis N. Day
Systemwide Manager of Branch Sales
Day is responsible for coordinating all system-wide sales and service efforts throughout The PELICAN Security Network, with a specific emphasis on marketing security and fire systems for business and commercial applications. Previously, he gained nearly 25 years’ experience in the security industry, including long tenures with two of the largest security providers in the U.S. From 1988 to 2002, Day worked with ADT Security Systems (Boca Raton, FL), the nation’s largest alarm company, as a Residential / Commercial Sales Representative, Integrated Systems Sales Specialist, Regional Major Account Manager and State-Wide Commercial Sales Manager. From 2002 to 2005, he was with Interface Security Systems (St. Louis, MO), the nation’s 12th largest electronic security company, as a Regional Sales Manager. Day has also served as a General Manager and National Sales Director for Access Automation & Controls; as a Senior Security & Fire Systems Specialist with Johnson Controls, and as an Industrial Sales Representative with Custom Security Systems in Baton Rouge, LA. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in criminal justice, Day began his career in law enforcement, serving in the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Department before entering the electronic security field. He holds a certification for advanced security protection technology and “required” (state-law-mandatory) fire detection and suppression from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET).

Ximena Valezquez-Barrett
Manager of Underwriting / Portfolio Analysis / Due Diligence
Barrett joined The PELICAN Security Network in 2012, and is active in dealer development, new account processing, contract review and underwriting, credit scoring, investment funds allocation, merger and acquisitions analysis, transaction due diligence, hold-back and recourse calculations, customer service, cancellations, billing and collections. Barrett brings to the Network previous professional experience in the areas of financial research and reporting, general ledger, accounting management and reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, mortgage underwriting, process development and implementation. She previously worked in the accounting and finance department of Liberty Bank & Trust Co., which is active in mortgage lending; and NEN Company, an industrial recycling company. A native of Bogota, Colombia; Ximena grew up in Louisiana and earned a degree in Finance from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is also studying to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA); and plans to pursue a Master’s in Accounting and Finance Management. |
