Safeway Serves State's Fastest Growing Area
A major security services provider in the New Orleans area has recently met all of the qualifications for full membership in The PELICAN Security Network.
Safeway Industries / Controls & Motions, LLC, in business for more than 20 years, first joined PELICAN as an affiliate member in November, 2008.
Since that time, Safeway has continued to grow and expand. The company has recently relocated to a newer, larger, more convenient location right off Interstate 12, so as to better serve the Greater New Orleans area.
Looking ahead, Safeway will continue to concentrate its efforts on the New Orleans market, as well as the “Northshore” area across Lake Pontchartrain.
With a focus on the cities of Mandeville, Covington, Hammond, Slidell and the surrounding communities, Safeway is perfectly positioned to serve this region, recognized as one of the most vibrant sectors for economic development in the entire State of Louisiana.
Commitment To New Orleans & The Northshore
Founded in 1991, Safeway was established to work directly with master home builders and commercial real estate developers in an effort to keep up with the tempo of new construction in this area; while also endeavoring to cater to the needs of commuters and young professionals working “across the lake” in New Orleans.
Then, in 2008, in an effort to remain at the forefront of technological advancement in the security industry, Safeway joined PELICAN, the nation’s fastest-growing alliance of independently-branded alarm companies, systems integrators and electrical contractors.
In doing so, Safeway has joined a select group of established companies in the New Orleans and Northshore areas that have also recently qualified for membership in The PELICAN Security Network, including:

- Campo Home Security Systems;
- and Westco Security Systems.
Reflecting the contributions of these Member Companies, PELICAN is today one of the 50 largest providers of fire and security services in the entire United States.
